Before you use our services

These terms apply to the Abroad Setu website and our services. Please read them before booking a session or making a payment. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Who can use our services

You should be 18 or older. If you are younger, a parent or legal guardian needs to take part and give consent. Information you give us must be true, complete and current.

What we offer

• Profile evaluation and career or course counselling.
• Country, course and university selection.
• Application, SOP and document support.
• Student visa preparation guidance.
• Scholarship and education loan guidance.
• Test preparation guidance.
• Accommodation assistance and pre-departure guidance.

What we cannot promise

We do not guarantee admission, a scholarship, a visa, a job or permanent residency. Those decisions belong to universities, governments, scholarship providers and employers. Our role is to guide and support your preparation. A reported success rate on this website describes past outcomes and does not predict or guarantee the result of your application.

What we need from you

Do not send forged or altered documents, disrupt our website or misuse our services to deceive anyone. If we discover false information or documents, we may stop work immediately. Fees already paid will not be returned in those circumstances, subject to rights that cannot be limited by law.

• Real documents and truthful answers.
• Prompt updates when your circumstances change.
• Replies and documents on time so agreed deadlines can be met.
• Use of our website and services for lawful purposes.

Fees

We explain the service price and scope before you pay. Our Payment and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. This website does not currently provide an online account or payment checkout.

Information on our site and in our advice

We work to keep fees, dates and requirements current. Universities, scholarship bodies and governments can change their rules. Confirm important requirements with the relevant authority before acting.

University names and outside services

We do not control universities, partners or outside service providers. University names and logos belong to their owners and are used for information. Their inclusion does not imply approval or a partnership unless we state that clearly.

Our content

Our original website text and designs belong to Abroad Setu. Stock photographs are used under their applicable licences. University names and marks remain the property of their respective owners and identify institutions mentioned on this site. You may read and link to them. Do not copy, sell or change our material without written permission, except where its licence or the law allows it.

Where our responsibility ends

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for outcomes decided by universities or government authorities, delays beyond our control, or losses resulting from inaccurate or missing information supplied to us. This does not exclude responsibility for our own failure to provide an agreed service.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a loss is limited to the fee paid to us for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits a legal right that cannot be limited.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

When we may stop a service

We may pause or end a service if these terms are breached, fraud or unlawful activity is suspected, or services are misused. You may stop using our services at any time, subject to the Payment and Refund Policy.

Updating these terms

Revised terms will be posted with a new effective date. Updated website terms apply from that date. A change does not retrospectively alter a service scope or payment already agreed in writing.

Law that applies

Indian law governs these terms. Disputes that cannot be resolved through discussion are subject to the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, subject to applicable law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
